Batmobile
The model:
Bill built this radical ride as a Batmobile from the 1964 comics.
These are Bill's comments: "It started its life as a Vette AGIN,
and I customized it to look like the Batmobile that first apeared in the comics
in 1964. The body was extensively modified to include the fins and
diagonal character lines, the engine was replaced with a Chevy 409, the chassis
was changed to make it more period-accurate, and assorted "Bat-gadgets" were
added throughout the model. The body was painted satin black, and finished with
a custom hood mask and aftermarket wheels from Aoshima."
