63 Corvette Sting Ray early A-Production Class Race Car
The model:
A photo in Karl Ludvigsen's "Star Spangled Sports Car" showed an early A-production coupe. Using that photo as a basis, Terry built this model.
"Wheels are Modelhaus steel wheels. The decals are from an
ancient Auto World sponsor sheet. I did add a simple roll bar and
braces."
Up close, you can see the roll bar through the rear windows.
