1957 Sebring Corvette GT
There were 4 Corvettes entered for the 12 Hours of Sebring race in 1957 . The Corvette SS which debuted in that race, the SR-2 and 2 production based Corvettes as car # 3 and 4. Richard Thompson and Gaston Andrey in car # 4 finish first in GT Production class, 12th overall. John Kilborn, Jim Jeffords, and Dale Duncan finished 2nd in the class and 15th overall in the #3 1957 Corvette. The SR-2 finished 16th overall, 7th in its class.
