Larry Shinoda Inspired C-5 Coupe
This model was inspired by a Larry Shinoda rendering of how he would have liked the then new C-5 to look. The design combines elements of all eras of production Corvettes as well as some of the concept cars.
The model:
"To build the model I grafted numerous body components from an AMT 63 Corvette onto a Revell C-5. The paint is Tamiya Mica Red Metallic."
Model Car Garage photo-etched details were used.

Phil's ability to shape concepts and drawings in 3D are clearly shown in this excellent execution of the controversial Shinoda's version of the C5.
