"Another 69 based racing corvette in the early '70's.  Kemp Pickett Racing Holiday Inn Vette.  This is the '68 convertible kit from Revell.  The rear flares are from the Owens Corning kit and the front flares are scratch built.  The air dam/brake ducts is a scratch built part from photo references.  The mini-lite wheels are from the vintage original Greenwood corvette.  The wheels are about the only accurate part of that kit!  The decals were found on eBay and I actually used two sets to get the right amount of Holiday Inn logos.  The decals are really good but I needed to add some spares to complete the sponsor list.  The drivers rear view side mirror is from a vintage '72 kit, but accurate for this car.  The bright Orange shows really well next to the other shark bodied racers."
