The categories are: LMP1 and LMP2 for prototype purpose built race cars and GT1 and GT2 for production based race cars.  The C6-R Corvettes compete in the GT1 category. The series consist of 11 races, for driver's,  manufacturer's, team and pit crew championships in all 4 categories.
The Pratt & Miller built C6-R was created on the foundation laid by the C5-R.  It debuted in the 12 Hours of Sebring race in 2005.  The factory backed team races 2 cars.

The model: Jim Drew built this awesome C6-R to represent car #4  as it raced in Laguna Seca in the last race of the 2007 season.  All the decals and artwork were made by Jim.
