"Cowvette" Pro Street Corvette

For all of you Pro Street racing fans.. here is a great idea for a vette sent in by Robert Wheeler..

Revell kit #7157 in 1/24th scale

Here are some of Rob's comments on the model:

Paint:

• White  (clear coated & polished),  White interior.

Work Done: 

• Black spots were made using decal sheet and the Cowvette name using a permanent marker on clear decal sheet.  The body was the overcoated with clear.

• Engine detailed & wired.

• Interior detailed.

• Rear window louver taken from an old MPC kit.

Problems:

• Chassis, engine & interior are very nicely detailed in the kit, but the fit of the body over it all is so tight, that you are almost obligated to leave it either permanently on or off.

Comments:

• What can I say! I try to build stock so much of the time that every once in a while I've got to relax!
