Kirk sent in a picture of MPC Firefighter Fuel Funny Car Kit #1-0702 that he built several years ago...
The paint is Candy Hot Rod Red (Testors).. the engine was detailed out with elastic Craft Braid and Radio Shack strapping wire for the plug wires.. the blower hold down straps were cut from book binders cloth.. What a great looking model with nice detailing.. it good to be able to see some of these old kits built up.
Kirk mentioned that he has a couple more of the old MPC funny car kits and hopes to find time to get them built.. send us some pictures when you get a chance Kirk.
